The journey here

Hi!
My name is Karianne Sunde Nøss and I live in Mandal, Norway. Here I live with my husband, our three children, the turtle “Turbo” and the hamster “The Hulk”.

I was born in Trondheim and raised in Stjørdal, a small town in the middle of Norway. I grew up with my mum and dad, and my 4 year older brother. My grandfather, who I never met because of an early death, was an artist and a painter. I have always felt the creativity in my body and heard that I have a artistic talent and a creative soul, and he has really inspired me through the years.

Despite of my creative desire I took a rather different path in school, mostly because of job opportunities at that time. First I became a doctors secretary, but realized I wanted to work with children and invest in our future, so I became a preschool teacher. Even though I found, and yet find this work inspiring and fun, my body and mind was saying stop. With three children, me and my husband working more than fulltime as a leader/manager, children going to activities and me feeling a bit stuck, I wanted a change. So this winter I actually just quit my job. Propably not the best idea in the age of 36, but I have gotten a lot of support, though many was shocked. But it was the best thing I have ever done! And right then and there I started to dream and hope for something that I never thought would happen. Could I actually study, start over and pursuit my dream? My husband became very fast a supportive member and here I am today!

I am really looking forward to study and meeting lot of creative souls out there!
