Consider the tips on Inspiration given in your prescribed book and create a name for an ice cream. The ice cream has a range of different flavours, but the unique aspect it should communicate is the fact that it is the coldest ice cream in existence. Now come up with five name options for this product (you should not spend more than a few minutes on each name) using inspiration from:
- Latin
- Colours
- Metaphors
- Science
- Myths
Latin: Frigus
This is the latin word for cold, which is the main essence in this assignment, the coldest icecream. It has also a lot of flavours so the name frigus, is also a bit similar to friskus, which means it’s fresh and tasty.
Color: Rainbow sleighride
Because of the different flavours I thought about the rainbow, and created kind of a ammusement to eat this ice by adding sleighride, which is refering to the cold ice.
Metaphor: Arctic Expedition
It is so cold that it takes your mind to Antarctis
Science: Crystal freeze
Everybody is familiar with snow chrystals, so this would be familiar to the cold, and a chrystal also reflects a lot of colors, which represents the different flavours.
Myths: Ice of Thrones
You propably already figured where this inspiration comes from. Yes, you guessed right, it’s from “the tv-series “Game of Thrones”. This is a mythical show and everybody knows the frase: “The winter is coming…”
